My intent in beginning this series of 'Liquid Drawings' was to make images that were non figurative, outside of the usual modes of photographic practice and to reflect on a process which until recently has been a wet one. Using a glass tray and a scanner, it was possible to document the introduction of inks and dyes into a water bath and to create a more complex color palette. Scanning at a fairly high resolution allowed me to capture this process as a dynamic and evolving state.
